GENERAL
The
general rules apply in all battles for the arena.
Players
will need to register with the tournament organiser and have
their playing decks checked and sealed.
Each
arena may impose additional rules, modifications and information
for the players' reference before any of the matches start.
Powerful
players with titles and ranks may be appointed to host their
own tournaments on behalf of the TKG Comic Circle in the future.
STANDARD
TOURNAMENTS The
standard arena battles are organised in terms of matches.
A
standard arena fee would be imposed on all players.
Each
match consists of 2 players who pit against each other. The
players will each fork out a spell card
(deemed by the players as of equal value) towards a pool.
The winner will take
all in the pool.
Spell
cards can be obtained by donating generously to the respective
elemental kings shrines.
ADVANCED
TOURNAMENTS The
advanced arena battles are organised in terms of bouts.
Each
bout consists of at least 8 players and above (in multiples of
4) who pit against each other using an elimination hierachy similar
to those used in ball games.
An
advanced arena fee would be imposed on all players. The amount
imposed depends on the size of the bout.
The
players will each fork out a spell card (deemed by the players
as of equal value) towards a pool. The winner will take all in
the pool.
There
is only 1 winner for each bout. However, multiple bouts can be
held within the same tournament.
SPECIAL
TOURNAMENTS Special
tournaments are tournaments with modifications to the normal
rules.
A
special arena fee may be imposed on all players.
Tthe
reward for winning a special tournament is usually rare
spell cards.
The
format of the tournament could be STANDARD or ADVANCED.
